銅包鋼有專用接頭器，例如旋緊接頭器、三通接頭器，且連接強(qiáng)度高，只要施工人員將接頭處處理合格，就有很好的防水絕緣效果，有利于延長示蹤線的使用壽命。盡管銅包鋁也有專用接頭器，但是由于銅與鋁的化學(xué)活性差異較大，一旦接頭防腐處理不好，被土壤中的液體侵濕，會形成原電池，進(jìn)而加速銅包鋁示蹤線發(fā)生電化學(xué)腐蝕，一般1～2a內(nèi)就會完全腐蝕斷掉，從而失去示蹤作用。

As long as the construction personnel handle the joints properly, it has good waterproof and insulation effects, which is conducive to extending the service life of the tracer wire. Although copper coated aluminum also has specialized connectors, due to the significant difference in chemical activity between copper and aluminum, once the anti-corrosion treatment of the connector is not good and it is wetted by liquid in the soil, it will form a primary battery, which will accelerate the electrochemical corrosion of the copper coated aluminum tracer line. Generally, it will completely corrode and break off within 1-2 years, thus losing its tracing effect.

③銅芯電線的防腐保護(hù)層為PVC材料，其防水、防腐功能較好，但PVC材質(zhì)容易老化，使示蹤線使用壽命縮短；銅包鋼與銅包鋁的外防腐層為聚乙烯材質(zhì)，即與PE管為同一材質(zhì)，在具備了較好的防水性、防腐性的前提下，保證了與一起敷設(shè)的PE管道具有相同的使用壽命。

④理論上示蹤線只要能夠連通導(dǎo)電即可，但實(shí)際的燃?xì)夤こ淌┕ぶ校x擇示蹤線要考慮到需要有一定的抗拉強(qiáng)度，如果示蹤線強(qiáng)度不夠，往往會在管道回填土或地面有下沉?xí)r被拉斷而失去作用。在施工的過程中，難免會出現(xiàn)示蹤線被拉斷的現(xiàn)象，因此，選擇示蹤線時不僅應(yīng)考慮探測信號的強(qiáng)弱，也要考慮示蹤線自身材質(zhì)的強(qiáng)度，以減少施工中出現(xiàn)拉斷問題。
